Positively Living®: Shame-Free Productivity Conversations
The Positively Living® Podcast brings you shame-free productivity conversations for the overwhelmed multi-passionate creatives, caregivers, and multi-taskers who never clock out, juggle countless responsibilities, and quietly wonder if there's a better way.
Hosted by Lisa Zawrotny, Productivity Coach and founder of Positively Productive Systems, the show replaces rigid productivity rules with flexible approaches that respect your energy and priorities. Through solo episodes, expert interviews, and live coaching sessions, Lisa covers the topics that actually affect your ability to move forward: stress management, habits and systems, decluttering, self-awareness, boundaries, mindset, entrepreneurship, and more.
This is productivity for real life, helping you breathe easier, move forward sustainably, and make space for what matters most to you.

Have you ever tried a ‘productivity hack’ only to realize it didn’t work for you? Productivity hacks are often shared as a way to get more done in less time. But they don't actually work because they tend to assume that every single person is the same. As multi-passionates, we know for a fact that it’s true. What works for your friend may not work for you, and vice versa. This week, episode 166 of the Positively Living Podcast is about The Productivity Hack Myth: Why They Don’t Work and What Does!
In this episode of the Positively Living Podcast, I share the biggest issues with productivity hacks, the worst hacks on those lists (and how they do more harm than good), and a way to find what feels aligned with how you work best.
I also review what to do instead, which includes the following:
- Focus on the big picture. Once you know what you want to achieve, you can start to break down your goals into smaller, more manageable tasks.
- Set realistic expectations. Start by setting small goals that you know you can achieve.
- Find what works for you. There is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to productivity.
- Take care of yourself. When you have more energy and focus, it will help you be more productive.
Productivity done right may take time and effort initially but helps you in the long run. I encourage you to keep learning how you work best.
