Especially around this time of year, I’m sure you see plenty of references to vision boards and can assume what they are and what goes into them, but like any other habit or technique, one size does not fit all. This week, episode 137 of the Positively Living Podcast is about how to create a vision board that works for you!
In this episode of the Positively Living Podcast, I’m sharing how vision boards can visually support what you want to be, do, or have in your life and how you can use them as a tool to help your brain quickly accept and maintain focus on these goals.
I cover the following topics:
- The science behind why visualization works as opposed to just making a list of your goals.
- Questions to ask when identifying what your “vision” is.
- The many types and styles of vision boards and how to choose the type that’s right for you.
- How to use your vision board in a way that actually helps you achieve your goals.
What you focus on, you fuel, and a vision board is an effective way to help you focus on what you want to achieve. Be sure to tailor this practice so that you can make it something you enjoy doing and something you’ll look forward to seeing every day.
